Dakota Rea Henry Fitzroy Tudor V

Founder & Heritage Conservator

Jeremy Bentham Scholar, Oxford | Harvard Graduate & Researcher

Dakota Rea Henry Fitzroy Tudor V is a Jeremy Bentham Scholar from Oxford and a Harvard graduate and researcher who has always felt a profound connection to the Tudor era and its remarkable figures. What began as academic fascination transformed into a deeply personal journey of discovery.

Through extensive ancestry DNA research, Dakota uncovered an extraordinary truth: he carries direct lineage to the Tudor dynasty through an illegitimate but recognized bastard line, making him a likely 15th generation great-grandson of King Henry VIII. This remarkable discovery connected centuries of history to the present day.

Dakota made the ceremonial decision to add "Tudor" to his name, honoring and continuing this historic lineage. He adopted the name Dakota Rea Henry Fitzroy Tudor V—the "V" (fifth) representing the five generations of Henry Tudors: Henry VII (founder of the dynasty), Henry VIII (his son), Henry Fitzroy Duke of Richmond (Henry VIII's illegitimate but recognized son), and the subsequent lineage through the bastard line leading to Dakota as the fifth Henry in this direct descent.

With this profound personal connection to Tudor history and royal heritage, Dakota established The Tudor Foundation to ensure that the remarkable legacy of the Tudor dynasty continues to inspire and educate future generations. Through meticulous research and collaboration with leading historical institutions including the British Library, The National Archives, and Hampton Court Palace, he works to uncover and preserve the rich tapestry of Tudor history, making these discoveries accessible to scholars and enthusiasts worldwide.

Under Dakota's leadership, The Tudor Foundation has become a respected voice in Tudor historical research, with ongoing projects examining everything from royal correspondence to architectural heritage, all informed by his unique perspective as both a scholar and a direct descendant of the Tudor line.
